We’re In Business!

…Or at least moving in that direction. With the impending move across state lines I thought it would be appropriate to leave a little something for folks to remember me by.

I’ve been perpetually neglecting to create personal business cards because:

  • I’ve had to change offline contact information almost as much as I change my pants
  • my freelance work has been consistent mostly due to word of mouth.

In light of the aforementioned items, I’ve chosen the super simple route of including only my web address and email on the card. This provides the added organizational benefit of keeping most of my clients contact info digitized.

The design is a loose branding of my site keeping the high contrast black and white with the same sans-serifed font as my website heading.

The printers, http://www.overnightprints.com, had helpful printing instructions on their site and quick turn around. In retrospect I wish I would have gone with the glossy finish as the simple act of the cards sliding against each other during shipping has created slight imperfections on the black surface. More important for presentation, however, is figuring out how to keep them from becoming annihilated after being in my wallet for a week.

Anyway, here’s a picture of them pre-annihilation: (Front|Back)
